Unprecedented Emergency Landing of Jetstar Flight in Japan

On January 7th 2023, a Jetstar flight encountered technical difficulties and had to make an emergency landing at Narita International Airport in Japan. Former news anchors Michiko Sano and Chikuma Kano were on standby as part of a “steel wall” security team while Nippon TV announcer Maki Hoshino stood ready for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the incident. No injuries were reported as a result of the emergency landing but it has highlighted how important safety protocols are even during times of crisis such as this one.
