Covid BF.7 Variant in US Raises Alarm for India
A new Covid-19 variant known as ‘Covid BF 7’ has been discovered in the United States which could potentially pose a serious threat if brought into India unchecked due to international travel restrictions imposed during this pandemic period combined with our already strained healthcare system due to ongoing battle against coronavirus cases throughout 2020-2021 period so far . It is highly recommended that everyone follow all safety protocols such as wearing masks when out in public places , maintaining social distancing , avoiding large gatherings etc . In addition , Indian government should consider increasing its efforts towards strengthening surveillance systems at airports & ports which will help detect & prevent entry of any such mutant strains into our country .
