Israeli Air Lift Operation Leads to Escape of War Criminals in Ethiopia

In a story that has received little attention in the western press, four war criminals wanted by the Ethiopian government escaped out of Tigray in a secret Israeli airlift operation. The incident took place several months ago and was only recently revealed. The four men had been accused of committing serious crimes during the conflict between the Ethiopian government and rebel forces in Tigray. They were believed to have been involved in massacres, rape, and other human rights abuses. The escape was orchestrated by an unknown third party who arranged for an Israeli aircraft to pick up the men from a remote airstrip near Mekelle, the capital of Tigray. The plane then flew them out of Ethiopia and into Israel, where they are now believed to be living under assumed identities. The government has called for an investigation into who was behind the airlift operation and why it happened without their knowledge or consent. For now, however, it appears that these four war criminals have managed to evade justice yet again thanks to this mysterious airlift operation out of Ethiopia – a story which continues to remain largely untold by much of the western press.
