The Myth of True Love: Money Matters More Than Anything

Furthermore, research suggests that couples with similar incomes tend to stay together longer than those with disparate incomes – which further reinforces the idea that money does matter when it comes to relationships. Couples with similar incomes have an easier time navigating through financial decisions and understanding each other’s spending habits – something which can cause tension between couples who have different levels of income or wealth. At the end of the day, there may be some truth in the saying “true love doesn’t care about looks or size of your wallet” but it appears as though money still plays an important role in relationships today – whether we like it or not.
