Max Véronneau's Practice with Mike Ricci Fails to Meet Expectations

This morning's practice session between Max Veronneau and Mike Ricci did not go as planned; Ricci thought Veronneau wasn't going hard enough on the celly and his expectations weren't met. It remains unclear why Veronneau failed to meet these expectations; however, many are speculating that he may not have been as prepared or skilled as necessary for what was expected of him during their practice session today.

This morning, hockey fans were hopeful that the practice session between Max Véronneau and Mike Ricci would be a success. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The two were on the ice practicing going from a resting HR to scoring/cellying all the way down the ice. Ricci thought Véronneau wasn't going hard enough on the celly, and his expectations weren't met. Véronneau had been hoping to make an impression on Ricci and show off his skills, but it appears he failed in doing so. Many onlookers were disappointed in Véronneau's performance, saying that he could have done much better if he had put more effort into it. Ricci had previously said "I used to say to Patty Marleau, I like it when you score. I LOVE it when I score," which seemed to imply that he was expecting something similar from Véronneau during their practice session this morning - something that didn't happen. It remains unclear why Véronneau failed to meet Ricci's expectations during their practice session this morning; however, many are speculating that he may not have been as prepared as he should have been or perhaps simply lacked the necessary skill set for what was expected of him. Whatever the case may be, one thing is certain - this morning's practice session between Max Véronneau and Mike Ricci was far from successful.
