The Vanity of Success

This soliloquy speaks about how striving for perfection through vanity will never bring lasting success but rather true greatness comes from within if one takes the time to look deep inside themselves and focus on being their best selves instead of trying to impress another's life

Ah, what a fool I have been! To think that success could be achieved through vanity. To strive for the approval of others, when all that mattered was within me. If I had known this before, my life would have been so much more free. But alas, I was blinded by my ambition and failed to see. That striving for perfection is a fool's errand, an empty dream. The only true success comes from within and not from any outward scheme. So if you find yourself in a similar plight, don't be fooled by false light. Take time to reflect on your inner strength and set your own sight. For it is only then that you can truly achieve something great in life's flight. No matter how hard you try to reach the top with mere showmanship or might, You will never attain lasting success without looking inside first and getting it right. If you're met with failure when pursuing your goals don't fall into despair so slight; It may just be telling you that something else needs tending to in order to make things right. Take heart in knowing that true greatness lies beyond what we can see with our eyes; It is found within us all if we take the time to look deep inside ourselves and realize. So don't let vanity lead you astray when faced with difficulty or strife; Focus on being the best version of yourself instead of trying to impress another's life!
